courchevelluxurycarrental.fr is operated under the brand Courchevel Luxury Car Rental, based in Courchevel, France. We offer self-drive and chauffeur-driven hire of luxury, sports, convertible, SUV, electric and supercar models, plus minivans, wedding car hire and airport delivery to and from the resort. These terms apply to every booking you make with us, however it reaches us, and they sit alongside the written quote we send you, which confirms the car, dates, price and any special conditions for your rental.

For private jet arrivals at Chambéry or TGV arrivals at Moutiers, we can hand the car over at the airport, your residence or your hotel, with a driver if you prefer, so the drive up the D915 to your chalet is part of the booking rather than an afterthought.

A booking is not made by filling in a form alone. You send us an enquiry with your dates, the car you are interested in and any details that matter to your trip; we reply with a written quote setting out the price and conditions; the booking is confirmed only once we have confirmed it back to you in writing. Until that written confirmation is issued, no car is reserved and no rate is guaranteed.

If any detail in your enquiry turns out to be incorrect once we review it, such as a driver's age or licence, we will tell you before confirming, and the quote may be adjusted accordingly.

Day rates start from €210 and vary by vehicle, dates and duration; the exact price for your booking is the one stated in our written quote, not any rate shown elsewhere on the site, since availability and seasonal pricing change. Unless the quote says otherwise, the price includes the car for the agreed dates, the insurance described in the quote and 300 km per day on multi-day rentals. It does not include fuel, extra mileage, fines, tolls, or optional services such as chauffeur service, airport delivery outside the standard area, or additional drivers, which are priced separately when requested.

We do not take payment through the website. Once your booking is confirmed in writing, payment is arranged directly with our team by the method and schedule stated in your quote. At handover, we also hold a refundable security deposit on a credit card in the main driver's name; depending on the car, the deposit ranges from €1,500 to €250,000. The deposit is released within 21 days after the car is returned, once we have checked for fines, tolls and any damage. If charges are due, we deduct them from the deposit and tell you what they cover.

Because a car rental is booked for specific dates and reserved exclusively for you, the 14-day right of withdrawal that normally applies to distance contracts does not apply here. Under Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, transposed into French law at Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, leisure services supplied on a specific date or during a specific period are excluded from that right. Instead, we offer the following voluntary cancellation policy, which is more flexible than the law requires:

• Free cancellation if you cancel up to 72 hours before pick-up.
• 50% of the booking value is charged if you cancel within 72 hours of pick-up.
• No refund if you simply do not show up for the rental.

If you want to change dates or swap the car rather than cancel, tell us as early as you can; we will try to accommodate the change, subject to availability, and the cancellation tiers above apply if the change cannot be agreed and you decide to cancel instead.

We may need to cancel or change a confirmed booking in limited situations: unsafe weather or road conditions, particularly relevant given the mountain roads around Courchevel, a technical or safety issue affecting the specific car, or force majeure beyond our reasonable control. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible, offer the closest available alternative car where we can, and if no suitable alternative exists or you do not want it, refund any amount you have already paid for the affected rental in full. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as flights, accommodation or other arrangements, arising from a cancellation made for these reasons.

The main driver must be at least 23 years old with at least 2 years' driving experience; vehicles over 500 hp require a minimum age of 25. At handover, the main driver must present a valid driving licence, a passport or national ID, and a credit card in their own name for the security deposit; drivers holding a non-EU licence may also need to show an International Driving Permit.

The car must not be driven abroad, used on a track day, or taken off-road without our prior written approval. Smoking and pets are not allowed in any of our cars. Using the car outside these terms, or for any purpose other than normal private use as described in your booking, may end the rental immediately and affect the security deposit.

We agree the handover and return location, date and time with you when the booking is confirmed; this can be the airport, your residence, your hotel, or our own location in Courchevel, and a chauffeured handover can be arranged on request. At handover we check the car's condition and fuel level together with you, and the same checks happen at return.

Multi-day rentals include 300 km per day; kilometres beyond that are charged at the rate stated in your quote. The car must be returned with the same fuel level it had at handover; if it is not, we charge the missing fuel at cost plus a refuelling service fee.

Traffic fines, tolls and parking charges incurred during your rental are your responsibility. Where these are issued to us after the car is returned, we pass them on to you together with an administrative fee, which is why the deposit is held for up to 21 days rather than released immediately.

Insurance is included as described in your written quote. If the car is damaged through your fault during the rental, you are liable for the insurance excess stated in the quote; this is deducted from the security deposit where applicable. Damage caused by prohibited use, such as driving abroad, off-road or on a track without our written approval, or by smoking or carrying pets in breach of these terms, is not covered by the insurance and is charged to you in full.

Our liability to you is limited to the value of the booking concerned, except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as missed flights, lost bookings or lost enjoyment of your trip.

If something goes wrong with your booking, contact us first at [email protected] so we can look into it and try to resolve it directly with you; most issues are solved faster this way than through formal proceedings.

The content of courchevelluxurycarrental.fr, including text, photographs and the fleet listing, belongs to Courchevel Luxury Car Rental or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. You may browse the site and submit enquiries for your own personal use; you may not scrape, copy or republish its content for commercial purposes.

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the French court of your own domicile or before the court with jurisdiction over our place of business, as French civil procedure allows; in all other cases, the French courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or our obligations; the version published on courchevelluxurycarrental.fr at the time you make an enquiry applies to that booking, and any later change does not affect a booking already confirmed in writing.
